Arabic Listening Suggestions

Arabic White Pages

What should I listen to ?

Our Advice: We strongly suggest listening to Arabic as much as you can and as regularly as you can without subtitles, if you trust this process, you will reach a point where things just start to make more sense and you will gradually progress in your understanding, although you may not be able to tangible see or track this.

  • Ertugrul:
    • Search the following in Google “أرطغرل مدبلج” and add the episode number at the end e.g. 1
    • Watch dubbed Arabic version so you learn Arabic, and not Turkish! Suckan Kardeshlaar va Bacimlaar! Allah Razi Olsun lol.
    • Keep in mind some of the sites hosting the episodes may contain inappropriate pop-ups and be aware of not clicking on pop-ups for any of them or downloading anything from them.
  • Arabic Cartoons/Movies

Please note: All of these suggestions are given as general advice as tools which may be beneficial in acquiring listening skills for Arabic, we are not issuing a ruling on what is permissible to watch and listen to and we ask that you use your own discretion and where needed ask your teacher for clarification, some people and scholars may be uncomfortable with the depiction of the sahabah for example.
